Jouan-Jouan were a Chinese tribe controlling the steppes north of Afghanistan. In the later years of Huvishka's rule they repeatedly raided the northern Bactria and seem to have established control over the area of Balkh. Light imitations of the Huvishka's (and later rulers') coinage were issued in a variety of sizes and weights (from about 1 gram+) - these imitations are usually attributed to Jouan-Jouan themselves, though it is likely that they were issued by a variety of different people for generations after the Kushans lost control over the Northern Bactria.
