Old style coins continued to be struck at the newly acquired territories by Akbar. These Malwa-style and weigh bronzes continued to be struck untilca.1000 AH at Mandu, Ujjain and Ujjainpur. The special Malwa-type falus and half-falus coins were issued in Malwa into the reign of Shah Jahan.
