Some enigmatic coins combine the obverse of a Kali fanam and a reverse of the "Vira Raya" fanam. We do not know where these coins were issued, but they are probably fairly early issues from petty chieftains in Karnataka, where the "Kali" and "Vira Raya" circulation territories met.
