This is an authentic 1864 T-70 Confederate $2 note (Criswell-569), a beautifully designed piece of Civil War-era currency. Issued during the final years of the Confederacy, this note features a striking vignette of Judah P. Benjamin, the Confederate Secretary of State, on the right, with a blank reverse. 

While this note was previously mounted, it remains colorful, well-preserved, and attractive.
